I think it would balance the class issues even further while allowing people to be more creative with the style shield they like using while keeping the strength requirements low. Please we need more shield options for spirit. I’m not saying this for myself but for everybody else that had to use a Monarch and had to waste extra points into strength for that 1 reason. If we want to balance the game more we need to make more of the other shield options to spawn with up to 4 sockets.

Making a spirit ideally out of a 45 all resist Sacred Targe would provide 80 poison/light/cold resist and 45 fire resist.Īs far as I see it paladins have an unfair advantage over the other classes as they can have a low strength requirement spirit and not the other classes. On top of that those shields can spawn with up to 45 all resist. Yes you hear that right paladins have full advantage of those low strength requirement paladin shields that can have up to 4 sockets and requiring less that 100 strength. Monarch which requires 156 strength to wear is the lowest strength requirement shield for the everyday character with the exception for paladins. However 4 socket shields are very limited. As a key part of every build, gamers should know exactly which hireling to use than this guide makes that decision much more informed. As we all know Diablo 2 has shields and different options of shields to choose from. The entries have been reordered and rewritten to reflect these findings. Now that gamers have been testing this for over two decades, there is finally some degree of consensus over which hirelings are good and which ones fall flat. Back when players hadn't thoroughly tested the extent of speed runs, there was a good deal of controversy about which hireling was the best.

However, for newcomers out there, just which Hirelings stood out among the rest? Moreover, players had the option to interchange Hirelings throughout their journey - adding a lot of versatility in the process. After all, players had to decide whether they needed a long-ranged specialist or a melee expert for their skirmishes. Interestingly, Hirelings added another dimension to gameplay in Diablo 2: Resurrectedrelease. Fans of Diablo 2: Resurrectedwould fondly remember their battles with their Hirelings against the Prime Evils and the Burning Hells.
